Other NotePrecise date of birth unknown, but Cluet matriculated from Oriel College, Oxford in 1594 at age 15. He graduated BA (1599/1600) and MA (1606) from Oriel and was granted the degree DD in 1619. After his ordination in 1609, he served as rector at St Aldate, Oxford (1614-1617), domestic chaplain to John King, Bishop of London (1615-1618); prebendary at St. Paul's (1616-1620); rector of St Ann and St Agnes (1617-1640); archeacon of Middlesex (1620-death); and vicar of All Saints, Fullham (1621-1640).
