Other NoteSon of Augustus Bakewell. Born in Staunton, Derbyshire. He matriculated from Lincoln College, Oxford at the age of 16 on the 17th April 1635 and gained a BA in 1638 and MA in 1641. He was rector of Rolleston, Staffordshire from c. 1646 until he was ejected in 1661. Preached at Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire in 1669. Licensed to preach in Longdon, Staffordshire in 1672.
