Other NoteRichard Luther matriculated at Christ's College, Cambridge in May 1568. He was the father-in-law of Jane Luther (GEMMS-PERSON-002530), and the subject of commemorative verses and a sermon composed by John Lavender (1611-1670). Richard Luther died on 28 February 1638, aged eighty-eight, and was buried on 2 March. See British Library, Harley MS 6538.
