Other NoteEdward Stillingfleet was the great-grandson of Edward Stillingfleet, Bishop of Worcester. He matriculated at Wadham College at the age of seventeen on 13 March 1748/9, graduating B.A. in 1752 and proceeding M.A. in 1755. He held posts at West Bromwich, and was also Rector of How Caple and Sollers Hope in Herefordshire.
