Other NoteJustinian Pagitt was born at Monkton Hadley and came from a family of lawyers. He was admitted pensioner, aged fifteen, at Christ's College, Cambridge, on 12 January 1627. However, he did not take a degree. He continued further training at the Middle Temple. On 8 May 1635, Pagitt was called to the bar. He served as JP for Middlesex from 1642 to 1648, and again from 1655 to 1660. Pagitt died at High Holborn on 29 December 1668 and was buried at St Giles in the Fields parish church on 2 January 1669.
