Other NoteThe son of John Moore, he was born at Padiham, Lancashire in c.1623. He was schooled at Burnley, Lancashire and Wakefild, Yorkshire. He was admitted at to Christ's College, Cambridge on 12 June 1640 at the age of 17. He was ordained at York in 1663. He was curate of Baildon, West Riding of Yorkshire and perhaps vicar of Haworth, West Riding of Yorkshire from 1675 to 1684. He died in 1684 and was buried at Haworth.
