Other NoteSon of Peter Harrison of Hindley, Lancashire. Graduated MA from Christ's College, Cambridge, having been incorporated from Trinity College Dublin. Gained Bachelors of Divinity in 1648 and Doctorate of Divinity in 1661. He was a fellow of Christ's College from 1644 to 1674. He was ordained as a deacon in Dublin on 18 February 1637/8 and as a priest on 20 June 1641. He subscribed to articles in 1660 and subscribed to the Oath of Uniformity in 1662. He was the rector of Cheadle, Cheshire from 1652 to 1660 and 1660 to 1674. He received a license to preach in Yorkshire on 6 November 1662. He was the father of James Harrison (b. 1671). He died on the 17 March 1673/4 and his will was read in Chester.
