Other Notefl. 1676. In WYL230/acc/2922/41 (West Yorkshire Archive Services, Leeds), he is identified as "Stra" and the "Curate of Atherston". There was a family named Stratford based in Atherstone, Warwickshire in this period. John Stratford (1630-1728) was high sheriff in 1667 (ACAD [Venn], ID: STRT646J). His sons, Theodore (b. 1662) and John (b. 1664) both studied law. None of them appears to have ever been a cleric.
