Other Notefl. 1654-1655. Named as preacher of a sermon in Add MS 39942, a collection of sermons by nonconforming preachers. No information given other than surname, but GEMMS biographical sources have a limited number of preachers with this surname. There are two possible candidates, both named Richard, and both having studied at Magdalene College, Cambridge. One was vicar of St Peter's, Colchester, 1629-32, then rector of St Mildred Poultry, London from 1638 until ejected (presumably ca. 1660-1662). He left England sometime after that. The other was perhaps rector of vicar of Rothley, Leicestershire in 1653.
