Other NoteThomas Miller was baptised on 5 May 1731, the first son of Sir John Miller, 4th Baronet of Lavant, and Susan Combe of Winchester. In 1753, he entered Corpus Christ College, Cambridge. He was Member of Parliament for Lewes in 1774, although he never spoke in the House. He also served as Member of Parliament for Portsmouth in the nineteenth century. Miller died on 4 September 1816.
