Other NoteThe exact birth date of Henry Scudder is unknown. He matriculated at Christ's College, Cambridge, and was awarded the degree of M.A. in 1606. He was rector of Drayton, Oxfordshire, and also of Collingbourne Ducis, Wiltshire from 1633. He had resigned the former living by 22 September 1619. On 10 May 1645, he was appointed minister of St Mildred Poultry. He also preached at St Andrew-by-the-Wardrobe before returning to Collingbourne Ducis, where he drew up his will on 12 February 1652.
