Other NoteThe exact birth date of Timothy Heard is unknown. Born at St Leonard's, Eastcheap, London, he matriculated sizar from Trinity College, Cambridge in Easter 1610, graduating B.A. in 1613/14. Heard was ordained deacon in London on 15 June 1617 at the age of twenty-five. He served as curate of St Mary le Bow, London. He was instituted to the vicarage of Takeley, Essex from 1629 until 1643, when he was sequestered. According to Fiona McCall, Heard was charged with drunkenness.
