Other NoteSir William Parker, Seventh Baronet (1769-1830) inherited Melford Hall, Suffolk. The house remains the family home of the Hyde Parkers to this day. Sir William was educated at Charterhouse School and served as private secretary to the Earl of Moira. He commissioned architect Thomas Hopper to remodel a number of the interiors at Melford Hall.
