Other NoteThe exact birth date of George Harbin is unknown. Born c. 1665, he was admitted pensioner at Emmanuel College, Cambridge on 13 March 1683, graduating B.A. in 1687. He migrated to Jesus on 30 March 1688. Harbin served as chaplain to Francis Turner, bishop of Ely. Upon the Glorious Revolution, he became a nonjuror. In 1699, Harbin entered the service of Thomas Thynne, 1st Viscount Weymouth, upon the recommendation of Bishop Turner. Harbin died on 20 September 1744 and was buried at St James's, Westminster, three days later.
