Other NoteHenry Wryght was born at Skipton, West Riding of Yorkshire and studied at Sedbergh before matriculating from Christ's College, Cambridge; he migrated to St. John's College, where he graduated B.A. in 1549/50. Wryght was made vicar of Runwell (Essex) in 1560 and rector of Wickford (Essex) in 1561; he served as rector of St. Stephen's Walbrook (London) from 1564 to 1572, and vicar of Hackney from 1570 to 1571. Wryght was subdean of York from 1575 to 1606 and held a prebend of York from 1580 to 1583. Known to have preached and authored sermons, Wryght died in 1610.
