Other NoteWilliam Harward graduated B.A. from St. John's College, Cambridge in 1549/50; he proceeded M.A. from Queens' College in 1553 and was fellow from 1550-9, at which point he was deprived. Harward was rector of St. Clement Danes, London (1559-89), vicar of Cowfold, Sussex (1560), rector of Farnham Royal, Bucks. (1565-), and possible rector of Shadoxhurst, Kent. He was canon of Windsor from 1562-89. He married the widow Alice Cavell in 1568 and died in 1589.
