Other NoteWilliam Langton graduated B.A. from Magdalen College, Oxford in 1592/3, M.A. in 1596/7, B.D. 1605/6, and D.D. in 1610. He was licensed to preach in 1605 and was rector of Lympsham, Somerset from 1605-15 and Brightwell, Berks. from 1615-26. He served as president of Magdalen College from 1610 until his death and was buried in the college chapel.
