Other NoteJohn Freke graduated B.A. from Wadham College, Oxford in 1655 and M.A. in 1661; he became a fellow of the college in 1662. Freke served as vicar of Hannington, Wiltshire from 1668-85, rector of Okeford Fitzpaine, Dorset from 1685-1711, and vicar of Belchalwell, Dorset from 1692-1711. He died Jan. 19, 1711/12 at Okeford.
