Other NoteThe exact date of birth of Richard Danford (alias: Damport) is unknown. He was admitted sizar at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge on 23 June 1603. Danford graduated B.A. in 1606/7, proceeding M.A. in 1610. He was ordained as deacon and priest three years later. In 1617, he was awarded the degree of B.D. He was instituted to the rectory of Stowlangtoft, Suffolk in 1625, and served there for six years. He also held the parish of Feltwell, Norfolk from 1630. Ejected during the years of the English Civil Wars, he regained this parish in 1660. His will was proved on 11 October 1666.
