Other NoteDaniel Featley was born on 5 March 1582 at Charlton-upon-Otmoor, Oxfordshire. He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford on 13 February 1602, becoming a probationer fellow of the College in the same year. On 17 April 1605, he proceeded M.A. In 1613, he was awarded the degree of B.D. and became rector of North Hill, Cornwall. Daniel Featley proceeded D.D. on 12 July 1617, and was instituted to the rectory of Lambeth in 1618. In 1626, he became rector of All Hallows, Bread Street, and of Acton, Middlesex, until his deprivation in 1643. Featley died at Chelsea College on 17 April 1645, and was buried in the chancel of Lambeth church.
