Other NoteNoted to be born in Hutton Essex. He Matriculated sizar from St John's College in 1579, and gained his BA in 1582/3. He was ordained in 1584 and was noted to be curate of Thaxted at that time. He was the curate of St Benet Fink, and was rector of Inworth from 1628 to 1640. Referred to in manuscript 001533 simply as "Mr Wharton", and has been identified as a the only Wharton working locally in the period.
