Other NoteThe exact date of birth of Peter Elliston (Alliston) is unknown. He was the sixth son of John Alliston of Black Notley, Essex. On 21 December 1629, Peter Elliston (Alliston) was admitted pensioner at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He graduated B.A. in 1633/4 and proceeded M.A. in 1637. From 1643 until 1650, he was instituted to the rectory of Horsmonden, Kent. In the last ten years of his life, he served as rector of Sandhurst, Kent. Peter Elliston (Alliston) died on 12 April 1660.
