Other NoteThe son of another Joshua Blower (CCEd Person ID: 67995), he was born in 1659. Matriculated sizar from St John's in April 1676, Blower gained his BA in 1679/80 and MA in 1684. He was rector of Fairstead from 1686, then vicar of Terling from 1687 - 1694, and rector of Bradwell from 1693. In 1714 he married Jane Ray, the daughter of the naturalist John Ray of Fairstead. His will was proved in 1729 in the Crown Court of Essex.
