Other NoteRobert Temple graduated B.A. from Magdalen College, Oxford in 1570, proceeded M.A. in 1573, and B.D. in 1588. He was instituted as the vicar of Burford, Oxfordshire in 1571 and served as vicar of Tickenham, Somerset from 1574-6. He served as chaplain to Dr Aylmer, Bishop of London, and was instituted as vicar of Lacock, Wiltshire in 1575, of Colerne, Wiltshire in 1576, of Wilsford, Wiltshire in 1582, and of Bremhill, Wiltshire in 1583. He was canon of Bristol from 1584-1611 and prebend of St Paul's, London from 1592-98. Temple served as rector of St Nicholas Acons, London from 1589-92, of St Michael's Queenhithe, London from 1591-95, and of Dowdeswell, Gloucestershire from 1598-1611. Temple died in 1611.
