Other Note'Mr Hunte of New Colledge' was the author of a sermon on Ephesians 2:14 (see Durham University Library Archives and Special Collections, Bamburgh MS C3). It is conjectured by the Durham University Special Collections online catalogue that 'Mr Hunte' is either John Hunt, Fellow of New College, Oxford (d. 1581) or William Hunt of New College, Oxford, who matriculated in 1615 and left with the degree of B.D. in 1636. Owing to the hand in which the sermon was written, it is perhaps more likely that the sermon was preached by William Hunt.
