Other NoteThe exact date of birth of Thomas Wakefield is not known. Baptised at Horseheath, Cambridgeshire on 28 October 1600, he matriculated sizar from Trinity College, Cambridge in Easter 1617. Wakefield graduated B.A. in 1620/1 and proceeded M.A. in 1624. He was ordained deacon and priest on 4 and 5 March 1626. In this year, he returned to Horseheath as its rector, holding this post until his death. He was buried at Horseheath on 4 February 1669.
