Other NoteJoseph Forster (Foster) was admitted pensioner at Peterhouse, Cambridge in 1692/3 at the age of 16. He was made Scholar in 1693 and matriculated in 1694. He graduated B.A. in 1696/7 and proceeded M.A. in 1700. He was ordained deacon in 1697 in York and priest in 1698. He was made curate of Norton, Co. Durham in 1700 vicar in 1712. He married Mary Davison in 1707, and may have had two sons. Forster died on 23 January 1746.
