Other NoteThe author of Oratio Dominica (London, 1643) may have been the Peter Bales who was admitted sizar, aged eighteen, at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge on 21 May 1628. He graduated B.A. in 1631/2 and proceeded M.A. in 1635. On 1 June 1634, he was ordained deacon, and on 21 September of the same year, he was ordained priest. He served as perpetual curate of St James Duke's Place, London, from 1637 until 1639.
