Other NoteElizabeth Cecil, Dowager Countess of Exeter, was born ca. 1604. She was the third daughter of John Egerton, 1st Earl of Bridgewater, and the widow of David Cecil, 3rd Earl of Exeter, who died in 1643. Her mother was Lady Frances Stanley. She had three children: France (d. 1654), Thomas (d. ca. 1641), and John (1628-1677/8). Elizabeth died ca. 20 March 1687/8.
