Other NoteCreswick was baptized on 24 November 1616. He matriculated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge, in 1635, earning his B.A. (1639) and M.A. (1642). Creswick was ordained in 1643. He was a fellow of St John's College, Cambridge, and received a B.D. from that college in 1650. Creswick was rector of Hardwick, Cambridgeshire (1644-1645), Hougham, Lincolnshire (1653), and Freshwater, Isle of Wight (1654-1662). He held the latter living until his ejection in 1662. In 1689, he purchased a manor, Beghall Ferrybridge Creswick, in Yorkshire. Creswick was buried on 20 January 1691/2.
