Other NoteNicholson entered Magdalen College, Oxford, in 1657. He was a chorister there from 1658 to 1661. At some point, Nicholson was minister at Melmerby, Glassenbury, and Kirk Oswald, all in in Cumberland. (SI also associates him with "Hesket, Lazonby ... etc.".) He was licensed to preach as a Congregational minister, which he did in Huddleskew / Huddlesceugh until his death. Cumberland. Nicholson died on 20 August 1697 at ca. 60 years old.
