Other NoteHough was admitted to Jesus College, Cambridge, in 1651, earning his B.A. in 1654/5 and M.A. in 1658. He was elected a fellow of Jesus College in 1656 but was ejected in 1662. In 1660, Hough was incorporated at Oxford. He was rector at Thornton, Yorkshire from 1668 until 1689, which he became vicar of Halifax, Yorkshire. According to ACAD, Hough died on 1 April 1691 at age 59. (CCEd lists a different death date of 1718.) Hough was married to Mary Copley and had a son, Nathaniel Hough.
