Other NoteCartwright was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge (BA 1649; MA 1652). He was curate first at Bosley, Cheshire (by 1650), and later at Overchurch, Upton, Cheshire. Following ejection in 1662, he was Chaplain to Lady Wilbraham at Woodhey. He was buried 17 March 1687/8.
