Other NoteMayo was ordained as a lecturer at Whitechapel in December 1652. In 1658 he took over as vicar at Kingston, Surrey, but was ejected in 1662. He continued to preach in Kingston, Guildford, and Henley-on-Thames. He led a presbyterian congregation beginning in the early 1680s, meeting first in Upper Thames Street, London and by the end of the decade at Salters' Hall Court.
