Other NoteDate of birth unknown; ACAD estimates 1603. Salmon was admitted to Emmanuel College, Cambridge in 1621 and matriculated in 1622. He earned the degrees B.A. (1625/6), M.A. (1629), and B.D. (1636). He was a fellow of Emmanuel College from 1629 to 1634. Thereafter, he was vicar of Stanground, Huntingdonshire from 1634 to around 1654.
