Other NotePaman was admitted to Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, in 1627, receiving a B.A. in 1631 and an M.A. in 1635. He went to Ireland as chaplain to Thomas Wentworth, first earl of Strafford, but returned to England, probably when Strafford was attainted by parliament. He was vicar of Thatcham, Berkshire from 1648 to about 1653. Returning to Ireland after the Restoration, he was prebend of St. Patrick's Dublin 1661-63 and Dean of Elphin from 1662-64.
