Other NoteTristram Sugge, son of Tristram Sugge of Yeovil, matriculated from Wadham College, Oxford in 1628 and was made scholar that same year; he graduated B.A. in 1630, proceeded M.A. in 1633, and was created D.D. in 1646. He held the position of college fellow from 1631 to 1648 and as proctor in 1642. He was rector of Stanford Dingley from 1642 to 1648, and which point he was ejected by the visitors; he was restored to his fellowship in 1660 but died shortly after on 27 January 1660/1. He was buried in the college chapel at Wadham.
