Other NoteThere are two preachers named Richard Culverwell who could have possibly preached the associated sermon. The first was born in 1582, and matriculated from Exeter College, Oxford as a Plebeian. BA in 1602; MA in 1607; BD in 1617. Rector of St Margaret Moyses, London from 1618 to his death in April 1644. Married Margaret Horton, daughter of London merchant Thomas Horton. They had five children, including Richard Culverwell III, who was baptized at St Margaret Moyses 21 April 1621. Matriculated from Trinity 1635; BA 1638/9; MA 1642. Ordained deacon in December 1642. Rector of Grundisburgh, Suffolk from 1644 to his death on 4 April, 1688.
