Other NoteThomas Trafford, son of Henry Trafford, was admitted sizar at St. John's College, Cambridge in 1654 at the age of 16. He matriculated in 1654 and graduated B.A. in 1657/8, proceeding M.A. in 1661 and D.D. in 1679. He was ordained deacon and priest in 1660. He served as rector of Heswall, Cheshire from 1661-66 and was made rector of Pembridge, Herefordshire in 1667. He was installed as prebendary of Hereford Cathedral in 1676. Trafford died on 20 December 1685.
