Other NoteThomas Bridge matriculated from Christ's College, Cambridge in 1617, graduating B.A. in 1620/1 and proceeding M.A. in 1624. He served as rector of the upper mediety of Malpas, Cheshire from 1625 to 1680 and vicar of St John's, Chester from 1665 to 1674. He was made prebendary of Chester, rector of Barrow, and rector of Tattenhall in 1635. He was chaplain to the Earl of Northumberland in 1661 in London. Bridge died in 1682 at the age of 82. He had at least two sons, Hugh and Robert.
