Venn lists him as matriculating from Christ Church, Oxford in 1634 at 15 and Clare College, Cambridge in 1635. He graduated B.A. in 1639/40 and proceeded M.A. in 1642/3. He was ordained priest in 1650. He served as reader at St Giles-in-the-Fields, London in 1664 and was vicar of St Bride's, Fleet Street and of Thannington, Kent from 1666-71. He died on 23 April 1672.
