Other NoteBorn in Alberbury, Shropshire in 1590 to unknown parents. Matriculated sizar from Queens' College, Cambridge, Easter 1619. BA 1621-22; MA from Emmanuel, 1625. Fellow there. Ordained priest, 1627. Incorporated at Oxford, 1628. Vicar/rector of All Saints church and of St Gregory, both in Northampton c. 1629-1634. Staunchly Calvinist, he was suspended in 1634 for preaching controversial doctrine. Died in 1659 and was buried 21 June.
