NoteThis is a Chapel of Ease in Southowram (Calderdale, West Yorkshire), built in 1530 by John Lacey. It fell into disrepair in the Elizabethan period and was closed for want of maintenance in 1602, but was renovated in 1630. Christopher Taylor was minister there until he left to become a Quaker.
