Description"A Sermon Preached at the funeral of Mrs Margaret Eresfeild [Eversfield] the onely daughter and Heire of Thomas Eresfeild of Denne in Sussex Knight. In the Parish Church of Luten in Bedfordshire. Upon Wednesday the 20th of May 1651." Includes an application to the deceased using the text as the preacher's “Compass” but not running into “a wild Funerall Oration”. He inverts the order of the words. The preacher knew her better when she was dying than while she was living. This is a fairly thorough application of the text to this lady, with a few, though not many, particular details about herself, her family, her habits, and her death.
