DescriptionThe title (on f. 8v) reads as follows: 'To all the faythfull congregation [...] of Southmolton William Ramsey, minister of gods woord at Charde wisheth grace and endles felicitie'. This entry might be classed as more of an address than a sermon. It begins with Ramsey referring to his departure for his period of ministry at Chard, Somerset. His speech is split into 'chapters' and encompasses topics such as the duties of pastors, husbands, women and children. Certain members of the congregation are addressed individually from f. 26v, including Sir John Chichester.
