Although the preaching is the same, Hunt’s edition is based on a manuscript of Howe’s sermons housed at Dr. Williams's Library, London.
DescriptionSermon is not explicitly marked as separate from Lecture 12: no division is indicated before Lecture 15 some pages later. However, the opening line "And now it is the particular use of the whole which we are next to come to" is where Lecture 14 begins in print edition and other MS. Sixth of a series of seven lecture on this text.
