Preachings1675-11-20 - 1676-01-20 (new) - British Isles - Occasion not identified; Date of preaching is identified as the “20th of the 11th month, 1675.” It is unclear whether these numbered months are Old or New Style, i.e. if the first month is March or January. To reflect both possibilities, the “Date Start” gives the 11th month according to the New Style (November), and the “Date End” gives the 11th month according to the Old Style (January 1675/6). Sermon may have been preached in Ireland or in England.

DescriptionText not explicitly listed, but appears to be the same as the previous sermon (Proverbs 3:17). Begins "Wee come now to answer some objections against the preasantness of wisdoms way." The preceding sermon concludes with a statement about "wisdom's ways", suggesting continutation.

Other NoteAlthough the sermons in this manuscript have been attributed to John Kettlewell, it is unlikely that this sermon was preached by him as he was only ordained deacon in 1677. See manuscript description for more information.
