Additional MaterialAt the beginning, there is a note on the preaching which has been crossed out: “When there was disention between the jeoffies of the Freeschoole of Cliteroe (which is very richly endowed if it might have right by which division the maintenance was detained from the same, whereby the maister and Schollers miserably languished, I was intreated by Sir Raphe Assheton & the rest of the Feoffies to preach on Midsummer day 1633; where upon I preached this sermon following”. At the end the sermon is followed by “part of the prayer at the end of the forsaid sermon”.
