DescriptionThis sermon, preached at the funeral of Katherine Henry, was written out by her granddaughter. She writes on the inside of the first leaf of the sermon: "A Sermon. Preach'd by Dr. Benion at Broad Oak May 28: 1707 = on occasion of the Death off my ever-honord Grandmother Mrs. Katharin Henry who fell asleep in the Lord May 25 = in the 79 year of her age=. Following that is the phrase "occasion'd likewise by the Death off Mr. Pell." This phrase does not appear to refer to the sermon for her grandmother but is unexplained.
