DescriptionNeatly written sermon, apparently based upon shorthand notes taken at the sermon. The title continues "the only son of his Father whom he had greate hopes of, who going into the water to wash him-self was drowned". The date "1734/5" is written in the margin on the second page. The ink appears similar, but the hand is larger and more untidy. It does not appear to be the original preaching date. Preached at the funeral of an unidentified "Young Gentleman".
